This capture is SO lovely! I just don't see many butterflies around my place... Thank you for coming by sharing your creative photography on the Weekly Top Shot, #105!
What a beautiful photograph. I usually hate it when people refer to their own blog in a comment, but I thought you might be interested to see my embroidered monarch on a milkweed. Your photo could have been my inspiration http://ginxcraft.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/more-phone-cosies.html
Stunning! Your pictures are simply perfect every single time. Not just a perfect butterfly, but the perfect plant to show off his colors...just lovely.
So lovely, Karen! Yesterday I saw at least three different monarchs down by Lake Ontario. I guess they are still migrating, which surprised me as I would have thought they'd have done that already.
Please feel free to leave a comment, and hey, why not follow my blog too. I can't respond to every comment, but I will return the favour and visit your blog. I have turned off word verification, but it randomly shows up, that's a BLOGGER glitch.
