A home for my photographs
Oh, I do love your beautiful birds, Karen!! Ah, and then there is the handsome Benny!!! Such a cutie!! Hope you have a great new week!!
I still think you have the best view Karen. Love that you share. Hug B
Very beautiful. When I was little I read about Red-winged Blackbirds but had no idea what they looked like. It is lovely to see your photographs.
absolutely wonderful photos Karen. There is a pair of cardinals nesting in a bush outside my bedroom window, I'be been watching them from their courtship this winter, to nest building and now Mamma is sitting on the eggs. I know exactly where the nest is, but it is covered well by foliage and I cannot get a photo. It is fun just knowing what is happening, watching poppa come back and forth.
Benny, he is the cutest, do all your squirrels have names? and all the birds, every one has so many different feathers, amongst their main ones, hope your weather is warming up as we cool down.
The sparrow looks very well fed! I used to see black and grey squirrels in NY but the squirrels I see in Colorado all are an oragne brow color.
Super set of close encounters Karen.Hope you are having a good week.
All very beautiful, and to me, exotic. Thank you.
your shots are just awesome! i have a chipping sparrow post for tomorrow and it'll stink compared to yours! :) LOVE your black squirrel!!!
Such beautiful creatures captured magnificently, Karen! How have you been feeling? Hope better and better!?!Hugs.
Excellent bird photos and what a good-looking black squirrel.
Well hello Benny! I don't remember you from last year. (He's looking pretty good; spring molt must be over?). And the feathers are wonderful.. as always. Great shot of the red-wing showing off his colors.
I love your black squirrels! The bird pics are exquisite as always.
love your photos - we don't have anything that interesting here :-)
The squirrel looks at home on the fence, nice reflection in the eye. Wonderful images of the birds!
Hello Karen..I hope the weather will let you get out before it gets too warm. From too cold to too warm.. Beautiful fur on this squirrel and the detail on the birds is wonderful...Michelle
Such a lovely variety of cuties you've captured Karen. Love them all.
Looks like a gathering of old friends.
Such sharp, clear photos. I don't get to see a red-winged blackbird. Your other birds I do see in my neighborhood.
Great photos. That squirrel looks very comfortable on the fence.
Lovely birds! Fabulous photo of Benny. :-)
You have so many cute critters here! I haven't seen a chipping sparrow yet this year!
I love red-winged blackbirds! I've been stalking one for weeks, but he's too fast for me!

Honestly, where is nature when I look at it? It never looks as good as yours!
Many feathered friends, Karen - and Benny is looking mighty sleek.
wonderful birds! these are of the type that we normally have around here. We don't get the black squirrels though.
Fabulous photos, Karen. The squirrel looks so at home on your deck! The birds look very healthy and happy. (I guess because they have a generous and loving hostess?)
Your photos are very sharp and clear, as well as beautiful of course.
I enlarged the photos...outstanding!!! Great post as always. It's like they all posed for you....love the squirrel.
