Yard Birds - 1

Birds in my yard this week.
 
Dark-eyed Junco. The first of the season!
I'm so glad to see these little "snowbirds" back!

Great shots of the birds! Our finches seem to have departed, as have the humming birds.

I had my first flock of juncoes yesterday but I'm not as enthusiastic as you. Around here they call them "snow birds" and there is a good reason for that! Your photos are beautiful.

Hey! We get the same visitors. :) The junco is a rarity for me, though. I love the way yours is perched on that tiny stick. He owns that! lol Great series, Karen!

Oh how cute..I read the Finch Forecast and I guess the nuts and seed crop was good this season so I won't see as many winter migrants as usual as they will have enough to eat.. Michelle
