1. Sunsets over water are one on my favourite things.
2. I've always wanted to live close to the shore of an ocean, lake, river, or pond.
3. I love to listen to the waves crashing over rocks on the ocean shore, or lapping gently on a sandy lake beach
4.I enjoy the fresh invigorating scent of water.
5. No matter what the season or temperature, I always remove my footwear and wade in the shallows.

oh, Karen, those are the 5 reasons that I yearn to live by a lake or river, but it is highly unlikely I ever will. So I count on lovely scenes that you and other bloggers "paint" for me. thank you

I do love wading into the waves too and hearing them as they crash on shore.
Totally agree about the water. I within a mile of Lake Michigan. I don't think I live without the water.
