Cottage Sunset Series #4

Click the pic to enlarge

On our recent vacation at the lake, I sat on the elevated deck of the cottage and watched the sun set every evening. The beauty of the sky held me in awe from the beginning of the sunset until dark.

I watched and photographed from the same vantage point each night. It was never boring!

then I encountered a blog with these damn pop-up gaming ads right after 2 dynamic view blogs in a row LOL

thankfully your photo eased my annoyance :)

  18. C'est très beau et toujours magique, mais la découpe des arbres au premier plan donne toute sa profondeur au paysage.

  19. I'd be riveted to each and every sunset on this lovely spot too... Gorgeous.

[Not only dynamic views are creating commenting issues... I've had trouble leaving comments on several normal sites, and others have not been able to leave one on mine. Google must be playing with the architecture.]

  32. The contrast of the light and the dark is impressive: while the sky and water remains still bright, the darkness is fallen on the ground. Aweinspiring and sooting.
