Boots For Buttons

Hubber's and I indulged in a little shopping over the weekend. Of course our retail therapy destinations are as different as chalk and cheese, but after 31 years together, we know how to compromise!

My choice was the "Wild Bird Unlimited" store, no explanation needed.

His choice was the "TSC" (Tractor Supply Company) store, farm and country home improvement, working the land, and outdoor hobbies. With "stuff" from automotive to fencing, to pet supplies, to work wear.

We both got what we went for, and I even enjoyed "his" store. (He bought me those cute floral gardening gloves in the upper right hand photo)

As I walked the aisles at TSC, I came across these delightful boots, that instantly brought to mind, my dear blog friend  Buttons. I know she has her "Pink Cadillac boots", but she's a bit down in the dumps, and I thought these may just bring a tiny smile to her face.

Hi Karen,

If voting, I'd choose the first store. I spotted several eye-catching blues there! Thanks for sharing.

Happy Blue Monday!

It's fun to shop the 'men's' stores sometimes isn't it? I usually find something interesting to see. Our date nights usually consist of visits to the Home stores and Costco. And I often get to visit Winners while he's at HD. I love those boots!

I no longer get a thrill from shopping since I have such an expensive hobby with photography, but your outing looks like fun. Love those boots!

Oh gosh you found some great stuff. When we go shopping together I get a lot of reading done on my Kindle while Bill is in Home Improvement stores. You did a lot better than I do. Wish I could find a Wild Bird Store -- there used to be one here in Eugene but it is gone now.

It must be a girl thing, because I too would choose Wild Bird Unlimited. But, we do have a store here that is very much like your TSC, and I have to admit to perusing it's aisles and finding a lot of fun stuff ... stuff that would cheer Buttons up (which is a wonderful, thoghtful jesture on your part). This was fun ... shopping by proxy:)
