Along a small country highway just outside of the city, is a small family run business.
A one-of-a-kind store, specializing in whimsical metal garden accessories,
home décor and genuine Amish furniture.
An 8 foot tall rooster, as well as many other metal sculptures,
catch the eye as you drive by.
I've never been inside, but it's on the to do list, the next time we are in the area.
I'll let you know if we can get that rooster on the top of car!

ReplyDeleteReminds me of that Mr. Rooster that my husband welded back together for a friend a few years back.....huge, hilarious and we're still laughing about how it almost didn't fit in the van...........the husband said "I must really love my wife to put up with this monstrosity."
Bwuahahahahaha.
Oh my goodness that rooster is something else! So comical and whimsical. What a neat place!

ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteI have to admit this rooster makes me laugh.
North Dakota has an Enchanted Highway featuring scrap metal sculptures. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enchanted_Highway). It's an interesting sight.
Oh cool!
ReplyDeleteI've seen metal sculptures but nothing as cheerful as these!
ReplyDeleteNo, we are not bringing home an 8 ft. rooster! Did I stop the car so you could take these or did you get them as we drove by?
