Nose Dives, Nibbles, And Perhaps A Nap

Male (Driller), and female (Dainty), Baltimore Orioles

You can see a couple more oriole shots here, that I posted at the beginning of the week.

Grey squirrel (Patches), obviously a new mom.

Taking a break from the kits. She is in the process of shedding her winter fur. She will look sleek and beautiful when her summer coat grows in.

oh karen, what a wonderful group of images!! my oriole has left, i have not seen her in about a week, i am so happy she deceided to spend the winter with me. but i miss her!!

do you always have orioles in the summer?? yours are beautiful, it is a lot of work keeping up with their food needs. my girl prefered grape jelly and only ate the orange if there was no jelly!!

poor patches, she has no idea what she has gotten herself in to!!!

Hi Karen Stunning Oriole shots and I don't think that Squirrel is napping just resting! Are you brave enough to cross the bridge today with me? Have a wonderful weekend.

The photos of the orioles are amazing! I love seeing them cling to the rod so gracefully while they eat.

I would love to see more squirrels around here. They left last fall because we had so few acorns, and I've seen very few this spring.

Beautiful and fun photos. I never knew what an Oriole was having only heard of them in an old son. They are very pretty.

You are so blessed to have the orioles. I tried for them last year, putting out jelly and fruit. No dice. I'm glad you gave an explanation of the squirrel's patchiness...I was concerned.

The colours are really popping in the oriole shot.

I love orioles, so great to see your beautiful shots, the only time I've seen one was when my Mulberry tree had berries in San Diego.
