Healing

Last weekend was my first trip out of the house since my surgery on August 7th. We drove to the lake of course! It was a lovely sunny cool day.
Lake Huron, Ontario, Canada
The water level is high and there is not much beach.

Merfy and I enjoyed the scenery, and the sun on our faces. (FYI...direct, bright sunlight on your face when being photographed, is better than photoshop!I look like I did when I was 30! Not bad for a 64 year old fart!)

A lovely sunset to end a very enjoyable day.

  2. Hubbers is pretty good ( make that a dab hand ) with the camera, you both look. " Absolutely Fabulous" I'll remember the sunlight tip next time Hugh has his camera out.

  11. you look beautiful. It must have felt so nice to out after so long! At first I thought that the water levels must be very, very low and then I realized you must be on a Great Lake.

  17. Hello Karen, having that emergency operation would've been such a shock.
Its delightful to see you as you enjoyed that time beside the water with your sweet doggie. Keep healing and enjoying life. All the best, Sue xx

  18. You *do* look fantastic, but I do not think that beauty is due solely to the direct sunlight! So glad you’re better ... and that you were able to get out to visit your Lake. A perfectly beautiful place in the sun.... and a big boost to the healing process.

  19. Nice set of pictures. I remember when I saw one of the Great Lakes (I assume this is one as well), I was struck how much like the sea it looked!

    PS: hope you are well!
