Ralph

The resident Great Blue Heron (Ralph), at the cottage.

Morning and evening, Ralph came to fish at the rapids in front of the cottage. A patient bird, waiting for hours to catch a bite. I enjoyed watching him for hours as well.

  17. Whenever I am able to watch a GBH for some length of time I consider it my Yoga meditation for the day! They are so patient and still! I love watching them (but it is even better if I get to see one catch a fish!)
