Your beautiful feathered friends do not seem the least bit deterred by the snow and cold, but I like you will be inside again today. I no longer venture out when it is snowy and icey outside. Beautiful captures. You must have a wonderful lens on your camera.

Compared to the male cardinal, the female seems almost drab, but she has a peculiar beauty all her own.

lovely visitors Karen… I'm glad you can see them through your windows and don't have to go out in that ridiculously cold weather. Here it was minus 1 when I awoke… plenty cold enough for me.

They all look puffed against the cold. I get Woodpeckers and Jays at altitude, but no Cardinals. Yours are lovely - great shots!

So beautiful. Your blue jay is amazing. In Oregon we just have the scrub jay and an occasional stellar..neither as colorful and pretty as yours. I love your window shots but wish it warm up for you.
