An Update

It's been a while since I have posted here, over a month actually, just before our sweet little dog, Merfy, had surgery to remove kidney stones. I am happy to report, he came through the operation with flying colours! They removed 11 stones from his urinary tract!

I too, have had some issues... with the MonSter, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), but I have managed to get through a major relapse, although a little worse for wear.

For now, we are "all good" here, and thankful for every day that we are granted.

A photo of Merfy and myself taken last week at the beach on Lake Huron, at the Pinery Provincial Park. One of our favourite places in this world.

  1. I am so glad that both you and Merfy are in recovery mode. And hope that the beast leaves you alone. Hugs.

  2. Merfy, you are a trooper with the highest score, well done. Karen, hope the MS stays at bay for a while, and you can enjoy those days of a lingering autumn. Lovely seat by the driftwood.

  3. Stay in good health, Karen. That's probably a bit of a dumb comment - but you will know what I mean.

  4. Hello, I am so glad you and Merfy are both feeling better now. Love the cute photo. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

  5. Sympathy's over the MonSter problem, my lad has it though he seems to be OK at the moment. Dogs can be a worry attimes when they get Ill

  6. I am so glad the surgery went well and all those nasty stones are gone. good to see you pop back up in blogland and that you are kicking MS butt again.....

  7. I'm glad Merfy and you are both doing well.

  8. So glad you are both a little bit better.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  9. Lovely to see you once more Karen and it's real good news you are over the relapse and your dear Merfy is ok after that op. A lovely photo of you both, and the skywatch photo is amazing. Good cheers to you :D) xx

  10. It is so nice to see you back here, Karen!
And I am very glad to hear that Merfyis healing and that you are feeling better.
    Take good care of you!

    P.S. I LOVE this photo! :-)

  11. Karen, this is such good news about Murfee. And I am glad you came through your bout with the monster not too much the worse for wear... treasure each day for sure... something I've learned how to do from my daughter.

  12. Apologies to Merfy for spelling his name wrong above. (That happens to me a lot, so I should know to be more careful .... sorry.))

I can't respond to every comment, but I will return the favour and visit your blog. I have turned off word verification, but it randomly shows up, that's a BLOGGER glitch.
