Adventures Ahead

Going shopping this weekend for one of these. Not the majority's choice, but we have always marched to the beat of a different drummer.

Jeep Patriot

We just LOVE the "squareness" of this vehicle.

  1. I like it, solid, dependable, not flashy, super strong, safe on all roads, and most of all, YOUR CHOICE. Enjoy, and I hope you find one to suit.

  3. Good luck. Buying a new car is a important decision... and exciting.

  4. I am curious as to why you think buying the vehicle of your choice indicates "marching to the beat of a different drummer." I am sure it is a very good vehicle but I hate these names like Patriot and Liberty. Cougars, Impalas, Falcons and Mustangs seem much more appropriate to me.

  6. Hi David, the majority of the people we know have "flashy" cars, with all the latest technology, cameras, iphone enabled etc. BTW, I don't like the name either, but I love the jeep.

  7. Hi again, Karen. i have driven VWs for years. They are relatively cheap and I have found them extremely reliable and I drive them until they are about to fall apart. The vehicle before my current one had over 404,000 km on it whenI took it to the scrap yard. But I still drove it there!
Hope you are feeling well. Have a great weekend.

  8. When my father-in-law passed away we "inherited" his Jeep Grand Cherokee. One of the best vehicles we've ever had!

  9. I will take that kind of square (or any kind really) any time. Love it -- hope you have some wonderful times with it.
