A home for my photographs
He does look more than a little motheaten. I hope some new fur comes in quickly - and that your weather is warming.
I did not know that about squirrelsHave a great week-end!
The best part of this is he will get better looking again one day. Lovely tail, though.
Good Morning, Karen! Great capture of your cute squirrel.. He will be looking back to normal soon. Thank you for linking up, have a happy weekend!
I did not know that about the moulting. They do look a bit ragged during this time, don't they?!
Great picture of this squirrel.Perfect photographed, my compliments.Have a good weekend.Best regards, Irma
They are so wonderful animals! I like them very much and also the pretty picture, which you have taken.Enjoy an enchanting springtime :)
Hi Karen, that is a great photo. I did not know that about squirrels. It's a sign that your spring is here?
They do look scruffy when they moult, don't they? ;))
I learned something new here about squirrels. Nice capture.
I'd laugh, but I think I am shedding more hair lately than my cat! Cute pic!
No kidding? Golly, had no idea. You see, we chase the squirrels out of the yard here. This is FINCH REST, not "Squirrel Rest," haha. How are you feeling, dear? Been thinking of you, hoping you are better.I have been so busy it isn't even funny and haven't been able to post a single thing. Very frustrating. One more week of crazy then I get a slight reprieve. May is filling up fast but not as crazy as April. Hugs.
interesting! had no idea! he is a bit scrappy looking. :)
Perfect shot of this cute little critter
Poor squirrel looks like he's been roughed up a bit! Nice photo though.
I remember you explained the molting process once before. I never get close enough to notice the ones around here molting, but I'm going to try.
Oh, yes! The squirrels here look as though they just climbed out of a garbage can in their "ragged" looking coats!! They look just like your guy!! Always good to see you online, Karen!! Hope you have a good weekend!!
Darling shot! I never knew that about their moulting patterns! Really interesting.
A little worse for wear but still awfully cute!
I didn't know about the moulting process. Interesting! Pretty little squirrel, they are so much fun to watch.
They are all looking rather tacky at this time of year, Karen! Hope you are recovering from your fall.
Great shot! He'll soon be more handsome than ever.
A handsome little fellow.Great picture.Karin
Looks like he or she is not well. Great shot!
Until now, I never knew this was the molting pattern. Learned something new!
I never realized that about the molting pattern when we were in Oregon -- and now I wonder if the squirrels here in Florida even molt?
Great shot of this little squirrel visitor

Awww, bless his molting little heart. He's still a cutie.
