Another Lifer

He flew in the yard,
spent less than a minute on the ground,
then off he went.

  29. Two different meanings of lifer... congrats on the first. Great bird and I'm impressed that one minute was enough time for you to take a picture. Let alone ID him. (And I'm glad the the handsome fellow in your second pic is there for life. Because he's always fun to see.)
