A home for my photographs
that's beautiful, karen. stay warm!
Way too cold, my friends near Halifax said it was freezing there. Super photo for the day, warp up warmly. Greetings from Jean
OOPS, maybe I am thinking in weaving jargon, the letters are in the wrong order, should have been " WRAP". not warp. Cheers, Jean.
Ah, reminds me of when I lived in Montana!! Beautiful sight and a superb capture as always! Hope your new year is off to a great start, Karen! Take care, stay warm and enjoy!!Sylvia
How absolutely beautiful. Thank you. Again.
Beautiful Photo Karen.I probably shouldn't admit this but at 26 degrees I still go out in my jammies (with a jacket of course and boots .. ) to feed animals early a.m. ~ keeps me rugged and healthy LOl Wishing you a wonderful 2014.All the best ,Willow
Pretty shot with the gnarly branches in the foreground.
A lovely view! Gorgeous.
Brrrr!!! Stay warm and drink lots of cocoa. We are expecting a cold front, but we're talking 40 degrees--cold for us. :/
I have ventured out but not for long!
Hmmm, and I was complaining that our wind chill was -20 (actual temp is 7)!!Absolutely LOVE this, Karen. Gorgeous color and mood.
So cold but what a pretty pic
Beautiful photo, Karen!
Love the beautiful color!
Hi Karen -- that beautiful color is enough (almost) to warm you up on a cold day. I saw Beep's post before I saw yours (I'm next door to her at SWF) and I guessed it had to be the Beep I know through your blog. Glad I was right. She inherits your talent.
We're waiting for snow tonight, then some really cold (for us) weather. Love the photo!
Beautiful!Happy New Year to you!
The tree silhouette is beautiful along with the gorgeous colors. Lovely sky shot! Happy New Year to you and your family!
Mother Nature is quite the artist in any season. Gorgeous colours.
It sure is pretty to look out the window. Can you believe how cold it is it really feels like a Canadian Winter now. Drat:) Hug B
It's a beautiful view Karen, I just love those colors!! It's almost 8 p.m. and we are finally getting our snow. I have lots of big windows in my house and I can get some pretty awesome snow pictures without ever leaving the house!! But tomorrow, I am def going outside, I have big plans!!ooohhhhh and I thought it was cold here. We are at 9 degrees but tomorrow it is suppose to be a lil warmer!!
Way too cold here today too to go out and take photos. And there was too much frost to see anything out the windows.
Really pretty view out your window. Much prettier than the views I just posted about.
Oh my gosh- that's too cold to even get close to the door to go out! Brrr! Pretty shot out the window though.
Too cold here too - minus24 plus the windchill.
It is certainly a nice view.
26 below Zero? Wow. My mother grew up in southeast Idaho. She says her mother always made the kids come in at 25 below because it was too cold to play outside.
Minus 26 is a scary number! Stay warm and enjoy this view from beside a fire. Happy New Year!
I love, love, love the silhouette made by the small branches against the sky. Great shot! Stay warm.
Lovely image. Happy New Year!
Like an abstract painting, Karen.Wish u the best year.
Yikes, -26? I can't even comprehend how cold that must be (but lived in CA almost my entire life). Happy New Year!
You are right about staying in doors. My view is not as good as yours.
Oh wow. Fiery is an understatement. Happy New Year Karen.
Thank goodness for window views! ;))
Lovely for SWF ~ xxx
It sure is so beautiful of a view through the window. Stay warm!
ouch, that´s cold. We are still on the plus side of zero. Only a little frost now and then.
Beautiful colors through the branches Karen. Only going down to minus 15 here tonight… but that is plenty cold enough for me… brrrr. Stay as cozy as you can.
A beautiful window shot to start a new Year.
Nice scene, love the colours.
