What fun shots!
Cute shots of the Cardinals. Your juvie is adorable.
The feathers of the fledgling and juvenile cardinals are amazingly mottled. But the little ones are adorable. Gorgeous photos.
A great series of photos. That first little bird looks so cute and scruffy as well.
Great post!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Have you moved to Vatican?Oh, now I understand! Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
So, all the cardinals from my garden went to yours :-)? Absolutely gorgeous captures, those pictures are. Do you provide food for them?
Wonderful shots of the cardinals in different stages.
Lucky you! I love the young males. They are so scraggly looking, you wonder how they could ever become the beauties their papas are.
it was a good year for cardinals here, too! lots of 'teenage acne' cases around here as well! :)
We have a great many of them here as well. In fact one of them wakes us every morning quite enthusiastically with his cheery song. I think we have a few mockingbirds who have taken up his post as well. I love to hear them at all times of day...You have captured them so nice and clearly. I liked being able to see the fledgeling so closely.
Great photos! What pretty colors, wonderful birds, I really like!
The last pic is sooo cute!
Great shots! So detailed and colorful.
Karen, these are fantastic shots and how wonderful to have your garden full of these beauties.
Wow! You got two of them. Lovely captures.
Awesome!!!! Of course, I've come to expect awesomeness from you. Your blog and photos are always such a treat.
Wonderful captures Karen! That first shot is so cute. It just makes me smile.
Oh Karen, this post is beyond wonderful to me! We don't have any of these wonderful birds in Oregon and I don't see many in Florida since we don't have a place for feeders. I was so in awe on our first sightings (when we were traveling) and I've certainly never seen the fledgling or juvies at all.. this was just great. Thank you.
They are just beautiful, Karen!Sweet little things.
These are super shots! I love seeing and hearing the Cardinals all year.

Love the patchy feathers of the fledglings.
Wonderful - Wonderful Photos!! I especially love seeing a father helping with the kids!
What a wonderful variety of the lovely birds!
Adorable series of Cardinals Karen, one of my favorite birds. The little fledgling is a beauty!
Great photo work...fantastic photo series...my compliment...Best regards, Karin
Such a welcome flash of color. And I especially love seeing adult males and females together for the contrast. I see that you and I use the same "feeding stations". I thought they would make such a mess feeding on the deck railing and front steps, but everything is gone in no time.
What wonderful photos! Great job. I especially like the dad feeding his chick.
mee too!! these are wonderful captures!!
Great series of photos.
These are gorgeous shots of the cardinals, Karen! I love them!
