Desert Clouds

Along the Lasseter Highway in the Northern Territory, Australia.

The photo is not edited, that is the true colour of the sand. The oxidized iron in the soil gives the whole area its distinctive and immediately recognizable reddish glow.

  16. Hi there - I'm planning (well hoping really!) to spend some more time in central / northern Australia next year. Colours like this make me sure it's a good idea.

Managed to fend off the coffee - well for a while anyway!
