Lardeau River

click on the pic to enlarge
Lardeau River at Howser, British Columbia, Canada,
within the Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges.
The Lardeau River connects Trout Lake with Kootenay Lake.
Both are glacier formed lakes, and that's why the river is this gorgeous colour.

  23. If I had that on my doorstep I would not know if I should canoe down it, fish in it, walk along side it or spend all day photographing it! What a great looking place.
