Dorset, Ontario, Canada

The sky, a perfect empty canvas, offers clouds nonetheless.
They shift and drift and beg interpretation... such is the nature of art.

  5. Beautiful photo Karen. My 4 year old daughter loves to look for patterns and shapes in the clouds and has made me see them in a whole new light.

  12. This brings back memories: In the late 70's I worked for a summer as a lookout in The Malheur National Forest in Oregon. The forest there was coniferous, but I could see for miles from the towers (I worked relief, so I rotated among the towers in the district). It was one of the highlights of my life.

  23. Hi there - I know it’s a sky shot, but my first thought was "do you have enough trees!"

    Splendid shot.

Feel free to use the phrase about the moon - I don’t hold copyright!
