  9. Lovely lovely shot Karen! We see Amish and Mennonite fairly close to us. Always a treat. Nice they had a blanket on the horse!

  10. Oh how we used to travel there . Even bought veggies from them at side of road and the honey.

    Do you know if they still have St. Jacobs built again? The Market Place up that burned down what a shock. As the Mennonites had lots up things in the market.

    Another place we used to go on Saturday. You too?

    Great take. Oh they drive those always at side of road. That is the eye catcher travel that we talk about.

  18. Sweet pic! I remember when they made the Amish put the ugly red triangle on the back of their carriages. I see the reason, but it does take away the charm a bit.

  24. Dearest Karen;
    Wow, lovely picture of horse and buggy♡♡♡ I wondered what you call the vehicle (?) and found one of your friend commented 'pogo pogostick' happy about reading it and reminded me the very old movie I enjoyed with my late father " Ben-Hur" :-)

    Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

  26. Great shot. The Amish buggy's are so neat and when you see a bunch of them all park in rows it's really cool. I like this lone one though very much.

  31. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I
    think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and
    extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post,
    I will try to get the hang of it!
