How beautiful he is, Karen, and your captures are superb as always!! Hope your week is off to a great start!! Wish I could send you some of our wonderful sunshine today!
What gorgeous captures, Karen. You take the best pictures. The piercing eye in the second one really makes an impression of the viewer. Such a colorful bird. Lovely.
Aren't they wonderful! OUr western towhees (in Oregon) were frequent yard visitors..and we even see them occasionally in the RV Park where we stay now when we're there. They have those distinctive markings -- and remarkable red eyes -- in fact I can't think of how they are different from yours. I need to look at pictures of both together to see...I would have IDd yours right away from the eyes alone.
I am so happy for you Karen, that you have the most amazing visitors and the ability to capture the such beautiful images of them. I'm sure it brings you much joy!!
Fantastic photos and a happy coincidence because I got my first sighting of an Eastern Towee yesterday. I didn't get a photo though and so happy to see yours. Now I can show hubby what I was talking about, thank you :)
