Wiarton Willie, our albino groundhog spring prognosticator, says...
6 more weeks of winter!
The cottage isn't far from Willie's home. We visited him in the summer,
but alas he was fast asleep, deep in his burrow.
Well anyway... thanks for the info Willie. Hope to see you this summer!

ReplyDeleteCute post, Willie is a cute groundhog. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI guess we can't bury the messenger. :) Environment Canada is predicting the same thing. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteCute Willie. I hope the summer comes to you sooner.
ReplyDeleteWell only six more weeks of winter it can't be as bad as 4 weeks of old fashioned winter in January at least we know March may bring warm:) Hug B
ReplyDeleteI'm not happy with Willie's forecast! LOL He's cute though!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely wintry here....again. No snow, but cold.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy with you Guys having six more weeks of winter because that means we have six more weeks of summer! Altho' it has been a tad too hot here...:(
ReplyDeleteWren x
Came here again from MYM.
ReplyDeleteNice to see cute Willie again :)
Yep, even though Shubenacadie Sam in Nova Scotia didn't see he shadow, we know there will be 6 - 8 more weeks of winter! :(
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteBrr, more winter! Thanks for sharing today's blue.
Happy Blue Monday!
gives me the willies. ;)
ReplyDeleteIf it is really just 6 weeks of winter left, then I can handle it :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute groundhog!
Cute groundhog. And who knows - like most weather forecasts, he might not be that reliable....?
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post for the day, Karen!! Love your groundhog!! Have to admit though that I hope his prediction -- like most weathermen -- is wrong!! I am tired of GRAY! But in comparison to your winter, ours has been spring from the beginning!!! Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteAs long as there is spring when we get back home to Toronto!
ReplyDeleteDangit! Well, it's not too surprising. Six weeks will fly by, hopefully!
ReplyDeleteLove the post and a great shot.
ReplyDeleteOh no, not six more weeks! Please, can I have spring in three weeks time?
ReplyDeleteI hope he is wrong! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun image. Hoping he is incorrect.
ReplyDeleteWarm Wishes; have a nice Monday

ReplyDeleteHope he's right about the 6 weeks:)
ReplyDeleteI hope he gets lost before reaching Texas.
ReplyDeleteOnly 6 weeks? That's good news around here, where March and April are our snowiest months!
ReplyDeleteHe's the man to know! And time is proving him to be the expert!
ReplyDeleteoh I am solo over this extreme cold winter. love the carving. Visiting through Mellow Yellow Mondays, have a blessed week!
ReplyDeleteGood post and cute images!
ReplyDeleteCute post!
ReplyDeleteThis groundhog is quite a colourful character.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too surprised at Willie's prediction. :)
ReplyDeleteFrom what I heard this morning about storm fronts, I am pretty sure your groundhog's prediction is right. Oh well, six weeks will just flyby (won't they?)
ReplyDeleteSomehow, there was no doubt about this "finding."
ReplyDelete:-)
Six more weeks! Thanks for that Willie. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the sculpture! Not the prognostication so much.
ReplyDeleteAh sleeping this winter away sounds like a good choice
