Your photos never fail to take my breath away, Karen, and these are surely no exception! I do love the detail and it's like having the birds and flowers sitting here on my desk with me!! Thank you! Hope you're feeling better! I'm holding good thoughts!!
Your white crown captures are so clear and feathers detailed perfectly , I could touch them. Lovely, and Tomato flowers, a sign of what you have already eaten!! Hugs, Jean.
Really beautiful macro shots of the tomato blossoms! And the white crowned sparrow is adorable. I have noticed a lack of birds - other than crows and hummingbirds - in our yard this past week. I guess they are heading south? It seems so quiet without their pretty songs.
I am sure that I've never looked this closely at tomato flowers, Karen, and they are just beautiful. I love your little sparrow too. What a precious one.
Hello Karen!:)Beautiful sharp images of both the tomato flower and the gorgeous White-crowned sparrow. Black and white really,:) and how striking it is!
Who would have thought of photographing a tomato flower? Karen of course - nice one, it's very attractive. And then there's nothing quite like a home-grown tomato, so much better than the ones in the supermarkets. And then my favourite sparrow - I love their cheeky distant whistle. Thanks Karen
A lovely grab bag Karen. I hope you are feeling better. I have been having vision problems the last 3 weeks unrelated to MS or perhaps related in that getting over any infections takes a long time... Michelle
Tomatoes! No fresh-off-the-vine Oregon tomatoes for us this summer. That's a definite downside of traveling to Alaska.
I hadn't thought of white-crowned sparrows in years. When we had our Oregon house we used to have a compost/brush pile out at the back corner of the property and those little guys (and their yellow-crowned cousins too) just loved that pile. Fun memories.
Please feel free to leave a comment, and hey, why not follow my blog too. I can't respond to every comment, but I will return the favour and visit your blog. I have turned off word verification, but it randomly shows up, that's a BLOGGER glitch.
