Hovering - Macro Monday

Not a true "Macro" but as close as I could get without a zoom.

Hummingbirds fascinate me. I could watch them for hours.
I was lucky to capture this little guy in hover mode!

  5. Great photo of the hummer. Confirmed reports indicate the first Ruby-throated Hummingbirds made it across the Gulf of Mexico a few days ago. They are heading north. We must just be patient.

  7. I rarely see hummingbirds and this week I saw two in in the blogosphere. Excellent capture. Any secrets on attracting them? I had no luck last summer.

  17. I love this shot! It looks like a composition but its a candid shot! The birds around my place stay because of all the fruit trees around us!
