Looking out the window the other day, I spotted this bird.
A new one for me.
It's a Wood Thrush.*
Wood Thrushes are forest-interior birds and are unlikely to come to feeders.
Although it summers in this area,
it should have been on it's way down south.
I hope this was a quick stop over,
and this little guy is on his way to Central America!
*Edit: Tex thinks it's a Fox Sparrow, she knows her birds, so maybe I have misidentified it. If so, it's a still a new one for me, and it won't freeze to death as a Thrush is likely to in this climate.
