Snowbirds

We had our first REAL winter storm Saturday and Sunday.
We woke up to 14 inches of snow on the ground Sunday morning.
Another two inches fell during the day.
Out front. Now that's what I call a blanket of snow on the car!
 The backyard.
The birds waiting for the feeders to be cleaned off and filled!
Downy Woodpecker, Cardinals, Goldfinch, Blue Jay

  1. We've heard about all the snow you've had. Quite a storm so early in the season. I hope it warms up for you a little.
It's beautiful, though. We get so little of it here and I miss it.

Looks beautiful....all cuddled up in blankets inside and sipping tea?? Almost like you can wander into the snow in your photos and hear the cispy sound of new snow under your feet

  28. That is a lot of snow and very pretty. The birds are lucky to have you there to feed them. If we put bird seed out the bears visit us on our deck and destroy the feeders. Yikes.
    Enjoy the pretty snow.
