I love the cardinal's red. Love to see the color flash in the trees or to spot one out in the field. I don't have feeders because the cowbirds will eat everything in one sitting. :(
I guess red is the colour of the day, Karen - and what handsome chaps they all are. I noted that you haven't seen a Killdeer since childhood. If ever you are in the Kitchener-Waterloo area let me know. I am pretty sure that I could take you to see one.
