Note Card Party - May 2013

I rarely edit my photos, some cropping and sharpening is usually all I do. I recently started dabbling with some of the many editing buttons in photo editors, and found it's a lot of fun. Although I am truly a purist when it comes to my photos, I like some of the effects.
I found a great meme - VEE'S NOTE CARD PARTY

You search for four photographs from your own blog that would make a nice set of note cards, and post them on your blog once a month. I thought it would be a fun place to share my altered photos.

  5. It's fun to play! For someone like myself (not for you), playing is what rescues a photo (sometimes). Thanks for joining right in! It's what brings a smile to my old face when I see that someone new has hopped on board. Great set of notecards and they'd be great both ways. I'm going to resist the urge to name a favorite, though I am partial to red barns.

  6. I have a deep *thing* for barns. I like all sorts of them, the older the better. These are fantastic, and my favorite is the second one. (I'm a purist because I'm too daft to be able to figure out most photo editing.)

  7. Fantastic Karen I would say the purist in you must be very pleased. I am the same way I rarely fiddle with my shots but I love when people do it that know how. You know how obviously they are awesome. B

I understand what you say about editing. I like to think it is either there or not but there are a few women in this circle that are true artists. Welcome.

  31. Nicely done! The editing really adds to the interest of the images. I usually do not spend a lot of time adjusting for lighting and edit the images on the computer.
