I found a great meme - VEE'S
NOTE CARD PARTY
You search for four
photographs from your own blog that would make a nice set of note cards, and
post them on your blog once a month. I thought it would be a fun place to share
my altered photos.
The originals...

Oh, I love these! Thanks for the tip, Karen! When I get settled in my new place and get my computer back up and running, I'm going to have to try some of these!! Hope your week is going well!! Sleep well!
ReplyDeleteWow. I love the textures - and these would make marvellous note cards. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved barns. Your note cards are an awesome collection!
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Carol
These are beautiful note cards! I love them all, especially the last one with the beautiful tree! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to play! For someone like myself (not for you), playing is what rescues a photo (sometimes). Thanks for joining right in! It's what brings a smile to my old face when I see that someone new has hopped on board. Great set of notecards and they'd be great both ways. I'm going to resist the urge to name a favorite, though I am partial to red barns.
ReplyDeleteI have a deep *thing* for barns. I like all sorts of them, the older the better. These are fantastic, and my favorite is the second one. (I'm a purist because I'm too daft to be able to figure out most photo editing.)
ReplyDeleteFantastic Karen I would say the purist in you must be very pleased. I am the same way I rarely fiddle with my shots but I love when people do it that know how. You know how obviously they are awesome. B
ReplyDeleteI love all of these. What is it about barns -- old, new ... there is just something special about them. Lovely shots.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos, Karen, and your editing makes for an interesting effect. I've always loved barns (and horses) and the picture of the rounded barn with the horse is definitely my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteThese would make really nice note cards -- thanks so much for sharing! Have a wonderful day!
Denise
Your barn notecards are charming and I like the antiqued look you added to them - fits right in with their age.
ReplyDeletereally nice set! love the 2nd and last best.
ReplyDeleteI really really love these -- actually in both versions, altered and original. Such fun. I am going to join this meme one day.
ReplyDeleteI agree, these make perfect notecards. Your edits work really well with these images. Nice set!
ReplyDeleteKaren! Your photographs are picture perfect. I love spotting scenes like these on back roads. Blessings...
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! Taking a break from handling family issues, I'm trying to catch up. I've missed so much here...stunning photos and especially love the birds. All is so excellent and so happy to 'see' you!
ReplyDeleteI'm here from the Note Card party. Your barn photos are beautiful! The last one would be my favorite. You should also join Barn Charm on Tuesdays, if you don't already!
ReplyDeleteI love these barns, gorgeous photos. xo
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteYou have done a wonderful job dressing up your photos/notecards. It's nice to see the "befores" too. Thanks for sharing...they are really nice.
The barns are so striking. You've done a great job editing the photos. I feel like there's a story behind each barn.
ReplyDeleteThese make excellent note cards. Very clever editing.
ReplyDeleteI understand what you say about editing. I like to think it is either there or not but there are a few women in this circle that are true artists. Welcome.
These are beautiful notecards. I love old barns and the editing on these photos really works well with them. Great choices Karen. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteA lovely set of note cards Karen.
ReplyDeleteThe clarity in your four original photos is exceptional - what part of the States is this?
Shane♥

ReplyDeleteI just love olden barns...so much character...and yours are extra great. Perfect for Vee's Note Cards.

Oh that is cool.
ReplyDeleteNicely done! The editing really adds to the interest of the images. I usually do not spend a lot of time adjusting for lighting and edit the images on the computer.
ReplyDeleteWow! So cool, these would make excellent notecards. It`s amazes me these were taken from the car screaming down the highway.
