After a very long winter, and a somewhat late spring, it was time to go to the lake. A balmy 17C degree (62F), day at the beach with our granddaughter. Yes, 62 is warm for those of us in The Great White North!
Ah, I remember those happy days -- mine and my kids!!! It does look beautiful!! Yes, I'm thrilled when we reach the 60s which we have today!!! Blue skies and sun!! Hooray!! Lets do enjoy!!
If that isn't the perfect picture of perfect happiness, I don't know what is!! I know the grandparents were just as full of joy! Happy Spring to all of you.
(and that is funny, I'd be wearing a sweater on 62 degree days; my blood has thinned out being here!)
Please feel free to leave a comment, and hey, why not follow my blog too. I can't respond to every comment, but I will return the favour and visit your blog. I have turned off word verification, but it randomly shows up, that's a BLOGGER glitch.

ReplyDeletethis is a really beautiful photograph, Karen.
Great shot, and 17°celcius is chilly weather for us here. It's what you are used to where ever you live, I guess.

ReplyDeleteA lovely photo. 17C is a cool midwinter's day here but yes, it's all relative. Enjoy your warmer days.
ReplyDeleteSpring time at last... and I can't wait until we get back to the beach
ReplyDeleteMollyxxx
Great photo ... but if it was only 17 and I was at the beach downunder, I'd be wearing something WARM!! But it's just what you get used to, huh?!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely capture of a carefree day at the beach! Had to laugh at 62 being warm. In the south, we might wear a scarf! ;)
