Even though it is strictly pavement, the yellow light and atmosphere captured in the mirror reminds me of the song “Follow The Yellow Brick Road”. :)

It's not often I run across a Marsh McLuhan quote and I'm delighted to do so here! how appropriate to the photo - and that's very cool too. as I like to say - Ooh la la.

Future looks bright and glorious, through your rear view!

the 'quote' in the rearview mirror caught my attention this morning

'objects in mirror are closer than they appear'

trying to keep some distance from past events, perhaps letting the sun go down on them . . .

an image for reflection indeed

Great picture indeed. Please have you all a good Friday.

does that message in the mirror mean the future is closer than it seems or the past is not as important as we think? great pic hon, if you were in Austraia you would have had to be in the drivers seat to get that one! :)

Amazing photo! I like to take pix when I'm in the car, but mine don't turn out to be fine art, like this one did! Way to go.

You must have been travelling fairly fast by the look of the road in this shot. Tell me you were not driving! It's a super shot.

Hi there - great shot. It reminds me of the scene in Jurassic Park where T.rex is chasing the car - same message on the mirror!

So funny... is that a trio of blue lights on top of that car following you? (hehe) Great reflection and I am glad that no one was injured. Have a great weekend!

Ohmigosh, this is a STUNNING shot!

You asked about what lens I used to get the honeybee pics ... I have a Canon PowerShot S3IS(bought at pawn shop) - and I just recently figured out how to use the Super Macro function. It's been so much fun - like having a brand new camera!
