Great shot in B&W. I posted a photo very much like that awhile back only in color--those wooden bridges leading into the woods make for such nice shots. Love your quote too. Have a nice weekend. Mickie ;)
The day outside is sunny, as far as the bridge goes. The woods on the other side look a bit dark, the trees shutting out the light. However, the railing leaves a shadow that guides us safely into the dark. It acts as the arrow that points in in that direction...
A bridge .. some woods ... perfection!.. my favorite place ? the woods or the ocean .. they both filled up my soul as a child and still do as an adult .. that is why I garden .. it fills up my soul with happiness : ) Joy PS .. black and white show it off wonderfully !
Please feel free to leave a comment, and hey, why not follow my blog too. I can't respond to every comment, but I will return the favour and visit your blog. I have turned off word verification, but it randomly shows up, that's a BLOGGER glitch.
Lovely sunlight and shadows, and it looks a beautiful walk.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this escape - has been four months since last I saw a forest with me own eyes.
