Tiny Toadstool - Macro Monday

Don't let the photo fool you. This little guy is just under 2 inches (5 cm) high.

I've never trusted toadstools, but I suppose some must have their good points

I'm looking for the elusive gnome underneath. What a great, wonderful detailed photo. Love this. [it'd make a super jigsaw puzzle]

Here's an open invitation to view my 'legendary' MERMAID'S PURSE...a sea 'oddity'. If you have time...come on over for a visit!!

Have a super Monday.

Toadstools apparently do have some good points - the best of which is that they make wonderful pictures that trigger our imaginations!

My camera frustrates me when it has a problem delivering what I see when the light is limited or the object far away but amazes me with macro shots. Such an awesome invention!!

Love your photo. Thanks!

I always take photos of mushrooms- they are so cute and I've never seen this type before. such detail and why is is notched-- has something been nibbling?

Thanks for visiting my macro!

I cannot believe it's taken me a week to return your visit and have a look at your Macro Monday post of LAST week! We're due for another round soon... I just love these little toadstools and your image is about the best I've ever seen of this species!
