Nice photograph. It looks great in B&W.
yes Karen, B+W images have a strength to them, perhaps its that we can focus on the shapes, the light and dark, rather than being distracted by colour
This image is certainly powerful, and a little strange. Looks like the seed heads endured some strong rain and wind!
I agree with Dimple. Powerful image. Looks spare and rich at the same time.
The contrast in textures between foreground and background works for me :)
Karen, I am glad you stopped by my site which led me here. You take some amazing photos. I am now a groupie!
I love it. Great capture of the flowers at this stage.
Wonderful flower and picture..;-D
What might be unnoticed in colour, looks fabulous in monochrome. I really like the DOF in this image.
Two are almost gone with a third just starting, nice!
They look unusual like that Fine shot.
looks like it has been rained upon. I like the contrasts in the shot.
The dandelion seed heads looks fantastic in monochrome!
Please feel free to leave a comment, and hey, why not follow my blog too.I can't respond to every comment, but I will return the favour and visit your blog. I have turned off word verification, but it randomly shows up, that's a BLOGGER glitch.
