We went for a walk on a local city trail on the weekend.
A little oasis in the middle of the city.
We didn't see much any wildlife.
No Ground birds, no birds at all really,
and thankfully, no coyotes.
The trail meanders through a forest, down to Medway Creek.
Lush and green at this time of year.
Our dog Merfy enjoyed the trek.
And finally, a critter of sorts,
it landed on hubbers wrist.

Thank you so much for taking us with you to this green haven.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an agreeable place to walk and I hope that dog owners respect the sign and keep their pets under control.

This is a quiet time year when both birds, animals and humans have other things to do. But, early morning is the best time of day to see wildlife.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place for a stroll!

ReplyDeletethe place looks amazing for a walk. Nice pics!
ReplyDeleteOh how amazing Karen this place is! Would love to get walks in there for sure. If only we have nature's lungs near our place, I would be less scared to go outside and spend some walking days there. Happy New Week Karen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful leafy green walk - we are rather less green here at present!

What a beautiful place to walk. It may change what you see to have a dog along. But sometimes we don't see a lot either but you always feel better after a walk! Your dog is adorable! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it's good luck when a grasshopper lands on your wrist )))..... and I KNOW it's good luck to be able to walk in such a lovely green park -- definitely an oasis.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely walk - though disconcerting mention of cayotes.
ReplyDeleteA pretty, green haven in which to shelter from the sun - looks like Murf is glad of a break to catch his breath! :-)
