Some leftover shots from around the yard.
My favourite "wildflower".
Most people think of dandelions as weeds,
but I think of them as flower food for bees.
A pretty in pink bachelor button.
Nirbert, one of my garden gnomes got a new paint job!
You are never too old to blow bubbles...then take a picture of one!
A Blue Jay, keeping an eye on...
The yard guard, my dog Merfy.
Loving your yard shots.
ReplyDeleteI am also really, really looking forward to when it is cold enough here to freeze bubbles. My inner child is alive and well. She is getting a tad impatient though.
My inner child gets out play more often than not!
DeleteMore gardeners should adopt your attitude towards dandelions, Karen, and cease viewing them as a pestilence from hell to be destroyed on sight.
ReplyDeleteI am surrounded by yard perfectionists David, I am not a popular neighbour.

I agree with you: the dandelions are food for bees.
Have a nice day!
That pink flower and bubble is excellent. Stay safe
ReplyDeleteYour yard guard is so sweet ... and I’m sure he does his job. Love the bubble shot ....I used to take bubble stuff out on our boat, it’s fun to blow bubbles as you go! Not sure why I stopped. I like your attitude toward dandelions... I’ve often wondered why people hate them so.
ReplyDeleteWe don't bother with the dandelions for the same reason...lovely photos...
