Like many people, my world is pretty much limited
to the house and the yard as a result of Covid-19.
But, there is always lots to see.
Female Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Male Baltimore Oriole
White-Crowned Sparrow
Chipmunk (Chipper)
Our darling granddaughter (Beep)
Yep, that's her! She is 15 now, in grade 11,
and as you can see by the shirt,
she has her grandparent's excellent taste in music!

Love your birds and Beep has grown into a beautiful young woman - with excellent taste in music.
ReplyDeleteBeep, when I met you here on Pixel Posts, you were so much younger, and now a grown up young lady, Love your hair and the T shirt.
ReplyDeleteNice... there's lots of entertainment in your backyard.
ReplyDeleteYour pics are fabulous. I was wondering how Beep was doing.
ReplyDeleteyour bird images are so beautiful!! i had an oriole once, for an entire winter and it was such a wonderful experience!! beep is all grown up, when did that happen?!?!
ReplyDeleteYours is the first picture of the year that I have seen of a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Karen. Great shot too. Birds arriving from the neotropics are probably not too thrilled with the weather we are experiencing now. Nor am I for that matter!
ReplyDeletegreat shots of life in the yard
ReplyDeleteYes I remember the Beatles but I don't miss them, prefer the more modern music now. Love the birds and Chipmunk
ReplyDeleteOrioles are such beautiful birds. The down side of being in a condo is that there isn't a yard for us to go out into. We do go on our daily walks for about a mile around the neighbourhood very day though. - Margy
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteBEEP has grown up, she is a good helper. I like the Beatles T-shirt.
Pretty captures of the birds, the Oriole and Grosbeak are favorites.
Enjoy your day, wishing you a great new week!
Can't go wrong with the Beatles!!

Your granddaughter has good taste in her choice of music.

The birds are wonderful and I am so glad you posted about Beep -- I wanted to ask about her when you came back to Blogland! She is indeed a lovely young lady (no surprise there; except I guess I didn't expect her to grow up while you were away ;>) (my grandchildren and great-grandsons have done a lot of that in those years, so I have no idea why your granddaughter surprised me so!)
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful Baltimore Oriole! We didn't get to see them this year, so I'm glad to find one here.
ReplyDeleteHow cute chipmunk ... he looks healthy with an adorable face.
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter is diligently willing to participate in cleaning the area.
She is a good girl.
Greetings from Indonesia.
Nice pictures of the birds and chippie. How nice that your granddaughter helps around the yard too.
ReplyDelete000 - such pretty shots!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a garden like yours. But I only have my balcony. :( Love your shots.
