Love the detail in the starlings plumage - that green is spectacular. And, of course, the squirrel is a charmer.
Thank you.

Superb feather details, and the squirrel, their tails are so bushy, guess to keep their noses warm on freezing days and nights. Or is it to balance when hanging onto a tree branch? Hope all is keeping a bit better with you over/ up there.Hugs. Jean.

At one time Starlings used to be very common here. No they only show up periodically.

This time of year it's easy to tell how they got their name! They are quite attractive in winter, I think. Great photos, Karen!

The Starlings are pretty birds. It is just a shame they can be so messy.. Cute squirrel. Great photos, enjoy your week ahead!

I still think they are beautiful looking birds even if they are voracious feeders! You got some very nice photos of them and the squirrel.

No name for the squirrel? Your starlings are SO much prettier than those we see. Maybe because ours don't get that winter coat?

Gosh, Karen,I've love to own a winter coat made of a fabric like the first bird. Just gorgeous.

OH. MY. GOSH. Karen, you take the most incredible wildlife pictures, wow.

You need to sell the rights to magazines, I swear you'd make a huge living doing so. Just overwhelmingly gorgeous photos.

They might be regarded as pests but take a close look at a Starling and see a beautiful bird. Lovely shots Karen.

I know Starlings are an introduced species and I bit of a pest - but in their finery they do look good.
