Your pictures are so crisp and clear ... I love the Blue Jays and though we occasionally see a black squirrel around here, it is rare ... so this is a treat.

I love your peekaboo shots. I think the bird you asked about on mine is a mockingbird. I'm basing that on the fact that I have a lot of mockingbirds but it did look different all fluffed out in the bath.
oh, he is a beautiful colour...I hope one comes to my feeder when I am outside one day. I only have one from a distance and through a window...it is pretty...but, not nearly clear or close enough for me...... great shot!!
Those Blue Jays do like to hide when they know you are looking at them. We have a (very) few black squirrels here in NE Illinois. Sadly, I saw one that was run over by a car.
