Oh, how beautiful they are!! I love cardinals and the little ones are so adorable! What delightful captures for the day, Karen! Hope your week is off to a great start!!
We have a great many of them here as well. In fact one of them wakes us every morning quite enthusiastically with his cheery song. I think we have a few mockingbirds who have taken up his post as well. I love to hear them at all times of day...You have captured them so nice and clearly. I liked being able to see the fledgeling so closely.
Oh Karen, this post is beyond wonderful to me! We don't have any of these wonderful birds in Oregon and I don't see many in Florida since we don't have a place for feeders.
I was so in awe on our first sightings (when we were traveling) and I've certainly never seen the fledgling or juvies at all.. this was just great. Thank you.
I just love every single one of those bird pics - the colour is so vivid, the detail so intricate - the second last one almost elegant and the last sooo sweet!!
Such a welcome flash of color. And I especially love seeing adult males and females together for the contrast. I see that you and I use the same "feeding stations". I thought they would make such a mess feeding on the deck railing and front steps, but everything is gone in no time.
