A guest post by my granddaughter.

My granddaughter and I went for a walk together by the river last week. I was searching for geese to shoot with my T2i, and she was a bit bored, so I handed her my little Canon PowerShot, (she was thrilled) I said "take pictures of anything you want". This is a click from her pics. When we got home, she viewed her captures on the computer, and decided this was the "best" one. She edited it in Photoshop herself, (she has watched me so many times). She loved the "texturizer". I think she did a great job!
The photographer...she is 8 years old.
She is saving up for her own camera. I told her I will match every 20 dollars she saves. I now owe her 40 bucks! She is a determined kid, I expect we will be going camera shopping very soon!
