I just put my binoculars down from looking at a female cardinal, then glanced down at your photo on my iPad. ! I must say, she is a beauty and your surroundings are so much prettier than mine. Wonderful shot!
Immediately my husband said...what an awesome female cardinal. This is a fabulous capture. She is so majestic perched there on the branch. We have seen a one or two here on our property, but never have we seen one like this so up close and personal. Great shot. genie
Hello there Karen girl ! On very rare occasions we see a flash of red here (mainly husband sees them and not me ;-( They are so beautiful it seems impossible for a bird to be such a gorgeous colour like that .. I would be tickled RED if one would drop by my spa now ? LOL Joy : )
