One of my latest acrylic pour paintings.
But...is it art?
Art may not be in the eye of the beholder,
but rather from the soul of the artist.
So, from my point of view, yes it is!
CHEERS!
YOU ARE BACK!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased. And yes, your work is most definitely art.
Wonderful to see you here again, and art, it is,it really is art.
ReplyDeleteI love it and to me it is beautiful ART
ReplyDeleteHello, I love colors, very pretty artwork. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful! So glad to see you're back.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, Karen!
ReplyDeleteTruly so unique.
Thank you for your kind comments! I am not really "back", but will pop in from time to time, because "once a blogger, always a blogger".
ReplyDeleteI love this Karen! Congratulations on being in the Art Show. Wish I could see it. We have been looking for art for one wall in our Canal Cottage and another painting for our Oregon apartment. One gallery person said to pick a painting by the colors that make you feel good, because eventually you'd kind of stop seeing the picture itself (when you got used to it), but if the colors were right you would still be happy with it. Anyway, long way of saying -- under that definition a pour painting (by a brilliant artist like you) and in the colors we loved would be perfect for our walls --- as I don't want to have to shop again!
ReplyDeleteHi Sallie,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for kind words. I think your gallery person may be right! Go with what makes you feel good. The beauty of acrylic pours, is that what you see as "the picture" is ever changing. If we lived closer, I would be honoured to create a piece of art for you. Cheers!
Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteBest regards!
