Summer has arrived, and with it came some special backyard visitors.
Baltimore Oriole (male), Rose-breasted Grosbeak (female), Black squirrel (Nutter)
It's school holidays for Beep (July & August),
and she is spending her weekdays with me (and Merfy).
We have lots of projects planned for home,
and lots of relaxing time planned at the lake.
I'll only be popping into blog land occasionally.
CHEERS!

ReplyDeleteenjoy your summer, karen and beep!
ReplyDeleteAh, I do hope you and Beep and Merfy all have a wonderful, beautiful summer!! I love your captures for the day!! They are superb -- as always! Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Karen. I was interested to see the oriole feeding on the orange. This was always a tried and true method for me, but a friend of mine has even greater success with grape jelly. Next spring I am going to try putting it out right from the getgo. My friend says he can hardly turn his back before the birds are feeding on it and he refills a couple of times a day.
ReplyDeleteLovely, and a half orange is the way to start any day. Enjoy days out with Merfy and Beep, I am longing for summer, and we are not really into our winter down here yet.
ReplyDeleteHave a great summer with Beep!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos. Have fun with Beep!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, it will be wonderful to spend your summer with Beep and Merfy. Gorgeous images, I love the Orioles and the sunset is lovely. Have a happy new week!
ReplyDeleteso jealous about your oriole, don't have too much fun ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's always a treat when the orioles visit my garden in spring but once the nesting begins I don't see them any more.
ReplyDeleteDays at the beach and cozy fires at night for toasting marshmallows will make for a nice summer. Enjoy the time with your granddaughter.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Karen.
