Hanging Out In The Cedar Tree

 Red-breasted (looks more orange to me) Nuthatch,
from the window. I was able to open the window to get these pics. This little guy is pretty tame. (I am healing well, and able to get around better now! I went for a short walk down by the river Sunday afternoon. It didn't yield much photo wise, but it was wonderful to be outside!!) Okay... I did get a pretty awesome Canada Goose photo or two, which I will post next week.

  19. Those birds are going to get used to you -- they'll be eating out of your hand before long ;>)...except pretty soon you'll be all better and spring will come and you'll be outside playing again. The nuthatch is so adorable...wonderful pictures.

  41. I get most of my bird pictures from the back door or windows as well - but none as magnificent as these. (guessing I need to find some birds with poorer hearing skills because they take off as soon as I approach)
