A Whatchamacallit- Sky Watch Friday

Click the pics to enlarge
This first one is my entry for the Favorite Photo Of The Week Contest.

A paraplane...
is the safest aircraft that you can fly, even if the engine fails you have a parachute already deployed, and the best part is that your not enclosed inside a cabin.

I took this shot before he flew off into the sunset in the first photo.

Oh, I love this contraption! It reminds me of something I saw in Journey to the Center of the Earth … even though it is heading skyward. There is a lovely contrast with the beach and children below.

Gorgeous blue skies and what fantastic captures of that para plane! How fun! And your composition in the first shot is perfect and fun with the little girls playing on the beach, the sunlight on the water and the para plane sailing off into the distance! Terrific! Hope your week is going well, Karen, and have a great weekend! Thanks for sharing your marvelous photos with us!

Wonderful shots, really like the first one. The children and the sun shining on the sea just look wonderful underneath the paraplane.
