It's been so hot here for the last week,
(35-42C which is 93-106F),
that I haven't gone out of the house!
I took a couple of pics through the window.
I have air conditioning in my studio, so... I painted this.
"The Fanciful Dragonfly"
(Acrylic on canvas}
Those temperatures are shockers. I wouldn't be going outside either.
ReplyDeleteLove your dragonfly and the thistle.
Too hot for me too, Karen. I have left the house, but have certainly not taken any long walks.

ReplyDeleteYour painting is absolutely breathtaking!! And your photos are so clear and vivid that I have to ask about the camera that you use, and your settings. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie. I use a an old Canon T2i and for those two pics, I just set it on "landscape" auto.

ReplyDeleteyour painting is stunning, the colors, the dragonfly itself, everything about it!! do you sell your paintings??? and if you are ever looking for an image to paint, feel free to paint my butterflies!!!
Thanks Debbie. I used to make my living selling my art, but I don't sell my paintings anymore. I have downloaded a couple of your gorgeous butterfly photos, and I will paint one some day. I will let you know when I do.
