Good Fences-19

"Simplicity is beauty."

simple beauty reigns
when days are void of visions
splendour to recall

A simple fence, as a backdrop to a simple weed in my yard. Nothing very remarkable about either one, to most people. But to me, it's quite beautiful. An image I will treasure, and tuck away in my memory, for future reference.

I am experiencing some vision loss due to "optic neuritis", a fairly common occurrence with multiple sclerosis. It's getting increasingly more difficult for me to see things on the computer screen, but I pop by to visit blogs when I am feeling optimistic. Until next time...cheers!

Edit; I just discovered that this weed is "bittersweet nightshade", which produces a red berry that is poisonous to humans and animals. So, I just hubby pull it all from the yard.

  2. Every weed has its own place in our lives, and no matter how simple it may be to a casual onlooker,... to you, and now in turn to each of us, it has colour, beauty, and a perfect place in your memory. I so treasure your words and sharing all with us, many hugs, Jean.
