Isolation Week 7, or 8, or Whatever

Things are opening up slowly here in Ontario,
but I am still self isolating.

An interesting visitor to the yard this week.
A male Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker.

I have a lot of time for "arting"
My latest painting
(acrylic on canvas)

Merfy stuck his head in some vegetation on a walk,
 and got seedy faced.

  1. The days/weeks do blur a bit don't they.
We too are slowly opening up, and I am largely ignoring it.
I love and am awed by your art. As usual.

  2. I’m so glad you showed us Murfree. I wanted to ask about him, but was a little bit afraid to after so long. I really like your painting. We’re in the same place you are with regard to Covid...our City is opening up a little, but we are still staying home. (So just like you except I have fewer birds and less talent),

  5. I'm still self-isolating, too, but finding things to do. Making fabric masks, sewing a quilt, rearranging furniture, playing the piano. Looks like your artwork is keeping you busy.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos. The ones of the flicker are especially striking.

  8. The Flicker is so pretty. I've never seen one here in NC or in OH where I lived previously. Love the lady bug artwork. I have some of the real ones decorating my garden today. Take care and have a wonderful week.

  9. Your Northern Flicker is superb.

I've lost track as well as to what week we are in.

I am hunkering down a little longer.
